Electrical Assembly Technician
We are currently seeking Electrical Assembly Technician for Hydraulic Cranes (Knuckle Boom) and welded assemblies to join our team. FRF Hydraulic is the PALFINGER Knuckle Boom Crane dealer with our installations, maintenance and service facility located in Brantford specializing in vehicle mounted Cranes and Hooklifts and Heavy-Duty Equipment. We are also the manufacturer of the required custom truck decks for both front and rear mounted cranes. Specific Job Duties and Qualifications
- Wiring 12v or 24v control systems, relays, fuses, switches, lights, cameras, etc.
- Fabricate various mounting brackets to interface body builder equipment to chassis electrical systems.
- Possession of your own hand-tools / toolbox: wire stripers, multi-meter, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
- Troubleshooting skills and diagnostic skills in mobile electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain daily work logs and parts using provided hand held systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision diagnosing faults and malfunctions.
- Ongoing enthusiasm to accept new challenges and training.
- Work as a team player with time management skills.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift (6am-3pm / 9am to 6pm) 2-week rotation
- Overtime may be required
- Saturday work possible
Required Experience: (3 years Minimum)
- Familiar with field wiring of electrical cable assemblies and custom harnesses.
- Can read and design electrical wiring diagrams to match the project specifications.
- Understands vehicle electronic control systems and signaling.
- Mechanical assembly and fabrication in a shop environment.
Consideration for, but not required:
- Forklift License
- Overhead Crane Operation
